Bagpipes, Haggis, Kilts and whisky are all things that come to mind when you think of Scotland. Come ride with us and yes you'll experience these and much more - magnificent mountains, glorious lochs and the occasional 'monster', castles. forests and glens. On your arrival you will stay at the beautiful lodge on Loch Lomond. Early on day 2 we head out towards Inverness riding through the stunning scenery of Glencoe famously used in the James Bond movie Skyfall, before we reach Inverness we will stop at Loch Ness so you can have a chance at monster spotting. Day 3 we start the Northcoast 500 section of our tour (Scotlands version of Route 66) and head west across to the Applecross Pass. We'll end the day near the pass saving its beauty for the next mornings early light, (Day 4) where we'll set off zig zagging north up the coast to our next destination of Ullapool. Day 5 takes us from Ullapool along some amazing roads to Durness. Day 6 sees us ride across to Scotland's most northern mainland tip of John 'o' Groats. Day 7 will be our longest in the saddle riding nearly 200 miles to the stunning Cairngorms and the Royal retreat of Balmoral. Day 8 sees us ride south to Edinburgh where en-route we stop see Scotlands most famous bridge the Forth Rail Bridge. On the penultimate day we head back to Loch Lomond, with 2 notable stops - firstly at The Kelpies - 2 giant steel horse heads rising up out of the ground before taking in the magnificent Trossachs national park then finishing the tour back at our lodge from day 1.

The first and last days mentioned in the itinerary are the arrival and departure days; there is no riding on these days. Bear in mind the time difference between your country of origin and your travel destination. Arrival time should be arranged before 3 pm on the arrival day. Please book your flights accordingly. Route and overnight places may change due to unforeseen events.
